    Thank you for creating this post: it saved us! I was about to give up on our beautiful Nespresso U, but your post, with the incredibly precise details and videos, allowed us to fix it. We bought the part on Amazon (with Amazon Prime, for $23, we had it the next day) and installed as you explain and presto! The Machine is back to life, brewing wonderful coffee.
