I stumbled upon www.clanbob.net while I was in high school and was greatly inspired by the art and story. I was just beginning to become interested in art as a career. In 10th grade English, I was assigned to write about a professional artist. As part of the assignment my teacher required us to contact the artists we admired and I was pleasantly surprised that Dan and Aaron actually sent me a reply. They were very encouraging and even expressed surprise that a student such as myself would ask advice from them. Even though I went into a different medium (ceramics). It was partially because of their encouragement I decided to apply for admission to a small university in upper Michigan for a degree in Fine Arts. I have since graduated but I don't know if I would have found the decided to go into the arts without the encouragement of admired artists Dan and Aaron.
